Our People
Keith Vaz is a Chartered Accountant with over 25 years of experience in corporate finance, strategic advisory, and operational transformation across Southeast Asia. He has served as Chief Executive, Chief Investment Officer, and Chief Financial Officer across the manufacturing, renewable energy, infrastructure, and financial services sectors.
Prior to founding Capital Partners Asia Pacific, Keith served as Principal for the Asia Pacific division of Zimmerman Adams Corporate Finance & Broking (London), where he raised over USD 1 billion in pre-IPO and IPO funds, building the Asia Pacific division into the firm's highest revenue contributor. He has led engagements with Fortune 100 clients and raised over USD 500 million for infrastructure and renewable energy projects across the region.
Keith holds qualifications from Queen's University Belfast, Anglia Ruskin University, and the University of Oxford, and is a Chartered Accountant registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
Julian Lim is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) with over 27 years of experience spanning investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, and the startup ecosystem. A seasoned dealmaker and serial entrepreneur, Julian has co-founded multiple IPO-bound companies and advised on a broad range of transactions including fundraisings, restructurings, acquisitions, and landmark IPOs — among them the award-winning Astro IPO.
Julian has served as Chief Financial Officer for a growing group spanning hospitality, F&B, and financial services, as well as for a company that achieved a successful IPO in Malaysia. In these roles he led corporate finance, budgeting, forecasting, and business strategy, combining deep technical rigour with a strong commercial instinct.
His experience in the startup and technology ecosystem includes supporting high-growth ventures such as Involve Asia (affiliate marketing), CTR1 Shift (ad network), and Entropia (digital advertising). Julian brings to Capital Partners Asia Pacific a distinctive combination of institutional-grade financial expertise, entrepreneurial drive, and a wide network across corporates, investors, and advisors in the region.
